From the Parking Lot
“From the Parking Lot” is a plein air painting done during the Umpqua Plein Air event in Roseburg, OR last summer. It was such a fun day. There were around 70 painters who participated in this timed paint out. We had three locations to choose from; a farm, a vineyard and downtown. I painted this in the parking lot of a fitness center looking at some old, slightly decrepit buildings in the historical downtown area. It’s a 9″x12″ oil on panel.
