Sunny Day in May
Sunny Day in May was selected as part of the juried 2011 Hundred Valleys Exhibition at the Umpqua Valley Arts Center. It is an oil painting of a street scene in Ashland, Oregon. I found out after I painted it that the owners of this floral shop in the painting, The Enchanted Florist are distant relatives by marriage. BTW if you’re ever in Ashland, you should stop in there – it’s so cute inside!

I Really like this…
This Sunny Day in May is so nice. What are the measurements?
Saw your exhibit at Seven Feathers today. Very nice work.
Thank you! The measurements of the painting itself are 11″x14″. It’s currently framed in a nice black frame that adds to the size. Louise let me know if you would like to see it in person. Thanks for looking at my art at Seven Feathers.
