Hi there,

I hope you’re enjoying your Sunday and can find time for your creativity today, even if it’s just 15 minutes.

It’s wet here on the Oregon coast. The forecast says we could get an inch of rain and thunderstorms later tonight. It sounds like a good day to clean up the studio and work on a painting.

I like this quote below, but probably wise to avoid trying this outdoors when thunderstorms are in the forecast. You could get more energy than you bargained for!

Art is standing with one hand extended into the universe and one hand extended into the world, and letting ourselves be a conduit for passing energy.

ALBERT EINSTEIN

Here is an inspiring demo by the magnificent watercolor portrait artist Eudes Correia from earlier this summer. It’s a long one; I’ll admit I watched it at double speed. I’m amazed at Eudes’ ability to paint loosely yet capture such a remarkable likeness.

Have an energizing week! ⚡️
