Today I’d like to share one of my favorite videos with Elizabeth Gilbert. She talks about going on a journey where fear is invited.
“The dream is that we will somehow create a life without fear. And that’s just nonsense.”
ELIZABETH GILBERT
Like it or not, fear is a part of the creative process. In other words, it’s normal for creative people to feel frightened.
- What if I mess up?
- What if I’m not good enough?
- What if this is a total waste of time and money?
- What if I’m too old?
- What if no one likes it? What if they don’t like me?
- What if they do like it and I won’t be able to paint another one as good?
Instead of letting fear take control of your creative time, follow Elizabeth’s advice and put fear in the backseat of the minivan.
Have a great journey this week!

Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon on a daily basis. Its always useful to read content from other authors and practice something from their websites.
